Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

Don’t all photography companies do basically the same thing?

When it comes to choosing a real estate agent you get what you pay for. Some are better than others, and a really good agent is not going to be one of the cheapest. Photographers are exactly the same.

There are cheaper photographers here in Miami, but they are often trying to rush through a photo shoot as quickly as possible. That creates a poor impression with the homeowner who is home at the time, and that reflects poorly on the agent that recommended them.

Where do you work?

If a city is not listed. I strongly encourage you to get in contact so we can make this happen depending on the services that are needed. I generally work in the following markets:

  • Miami

  • Fort Lauderdale

  • West Palm Beach

  • Naples

How long does a typical photoshoot last?

The amount of time it takes to do a full real estate photo shoot will vary, depending on the package that is booked and the services that are included.

Typically, a standard photo shoot will take up to an hour and a half, though if other services are booked (such as video) then allow extra time.

If it’s important that you know the time beforehand, please have a chat with me and I can give you an estimate based on the booking that is made.

Does the photographer clean up the home before starting?

No. If the property is not photo ready when I arrive, I will strongly encourage to reschedule, the agent always has the option to proceed with the photoshoot as is.

When are the photos delivered?

All of the photos from your real estate photo session will be delivered within 2 days. All other types of photography such as interior design could take longer depending on the amount of projects I’m working on at the moment.

If you require faster delivery, please chat with me before you book your photo shoot and I’ll do what we can to meet your needs (but I can’t make any promises until we chat).

What happens if the weather is bad?

We often encounter difficult weather here in Miami, and that can have a detrimental effect on a real estate photo session. I am happy to reschedule a shoot at short notice if the weather turns poor, however, I always leave it up to my clients to decide if they would like to proceed or not.

What is the best time of the day for my photoshoot?

That depends on which way the home faces:

  • North: Early Morning (9:00am to 1:00pm).

  • East: Morning (10:00am to 12:00pm).

  • West: Early Afternoon (12:00pm to 2:00pm).

  • South: Afternoon (1:00pm to 4:00pm).

This times are based on Eastern United States.

When and how do I pay?

When you receive your materials, you will be prompted to pay via Debit or Credit card before materials become downloadable. If you experience any difficulty when making a payment, feel free to reach out to come up with a solution.
